Heyneke is rassisties in keuses

September 26, 2012 in Uncategorized

Watch this space.

Want HM en sy manne laat my bloed kook… Morne steyn behoort vir Pirates of bafana striker te speel, hy sal nogals n paar great goals kry vir hulle. Want hy is usellessssss. So Saterdag sal ek maar weer Golf speel.

  2. The Springbok team to face Australia in Pretoria is:

    15. Zane Kirchne 14. Bryan Habana. 13. Jean de Villiers (captain). 12. Frans Steyn / Jaco Taute. 11. Francois Hougaard. 10. Johan Goosen. 9. Ruan Pienaar. 8. Duane Vermeulen. 7. Willem Alberts. 6. Francois Louw. 5. Andries Bekker. 4. Eben Etzebeth. 3. Jannie du Plessis. 2. Adriaan Strauss (vice-captain). 1.Tendai Mtawarira Replacements:16. Tiaan Liebenberg. 17. Coenie Oosthuizen. 18. Flip van der Merwe. 19. Marcell Coetzee. 20. Elton Jantjies. 21. Jaco Taute / Juan de Jongh. 22. Pat Lambie

U Just proved your Point again.. How Long has De Jongh been 2nd Pivot to Steyn and JDV. Suddenly Taute a Fullback/wing is going to be selected on the Bench or Starting line up if Steyn is not playing. HM is so playing with us.. But at least Morne is not in in the team and what is Zaine still doing on 15?

  3. I don’t for one second believe HM is a racist, that’s a bit harsh. He has picked his team, we need to support the Boks. The problem is that every person with a laptop or cellphone will always have an opinion for better choices amd who should play where, the fact of the matter is no one knows the players better than the coach and what they can do.. there is a reason behind every selection and HM doesn’t owe us an explanation because we don’t pay his salary. his job to pick and coach , ours to support. Lets not bring up the race card, that should have died 10 years ago

  4. @brrzaouw
I hear your point and I agree, it’s not entirely fair to call HM a racist. But I think @wallabokiwi‘s point is that the decisions HM makes seem racist – the decisions and not the man himself – and not only skin colour-wise but also provincial colour-wise. It only starts looking racial skin colour-wise when an obvious-choice black player is overlooked for a non-Bulls player. I also find it weird how Taute is chosen at centre before Juan de Jongh, a highly promising fully-fledged specialist centre with Bok experience. Johan Goosen, as highly rated as he is, surely should be considered behind Elton who is in the form of his life and more experienced? I’ve never understood the Gio Aplon story either (a guy who looks like he’d die with the green jersey on), but maybe that has more to do with HM’s infatuation with Zane Kirchner? Mvovo also has so much potential, given the opportunities and allowed the chance to make mistakes like everyone else is afforded. Siya Kolisi’s situation for me is sad. He was told to go to a form of “finishing school” first before even sitting on a Bok bench. What does the guy need to do to show his commitment to the cause?

  5. @wallabokiwi: I would love to translate your article so that more people can read it. I think you make some very valid points, without the typical raceial mud-slinging that people often conduct these kinds of discussion with.

  6. brr…I agree with you. I dont believe in quoata systems and players. I dont believe polictics should interfere in sport nor that colour should play a role. However, I’m just looking it from a non-white perspect and from a rugby one and serious questions should be asked on some of those selections. I can understand why some might still support the All Blacks!

  7. kedafie lol.

  8. I’ve been wondering what his motivations have been in his selection.

Initially, I thought, like everyone else, he is picking the best BIG player at each position. Then my perspective changed when some of the players who played poorly were still picked.

I am on a rugby forum where this exact same thing was the topic of discussion just two days ago.

I reckon he needs to be fired if this keeps up.
    His abysmal record.
    His selections.
His sticking to a losing formula.
His constant selection of Bulls players.

He needs to be held accountable.

Somebody from SARFU needs to step up and tell him unequivocally that his job is on the line now, and it’s going to be based strictly on performance.

His selections are not just based on race and province. Most of them also have Afrikaaner heritage. Elton Jantjies and Pat Lambie behind Goosens? Really?

Quite frankly I don’t care who he selects if they win. And I don’t think I am alone with that thoutht. He can select whatever team he wants as long as it beats the All Blacks (and by definition, everyone else) regularly.

Not by kicking 18 points and scoring a single try either. I mean beating them at running rugby, grinding rugby, hard rugby and kicking points occasionally just to say “and we can beat you this way too.”

Someone needs to shorten his leash seriously. NOW.

  9. I agree, even the players are too ‘scared’ to question HM!
