Once Were Warriors

For once, I left a final knowing this: It matters not who won, or who lost. The situation was bigger than that. I think Doc Craven  said “nobody is bigger than the game”. I always thought he was right. What happened in Soweto on Saturday, was bigger than the game.

Mere language, can not describe the amazing feat that was the Super 14 final. The vibe was out of this world, two opposing teams, but actually, one nation, one country, one people.

I hooked up with fellow blogger Jakes, as I was with a Dutch person in bright orange when EVERYONE was in blue. I tried to get to Snakedoctor but speaking on the phone was entirely impossible. The noise, the vibe, the atmosphere!!!

So herewith the picture tells a thousand words version: I was not sure if I should put Darwinia out there, but then I thought: This occasion is so big, and anyway, everyone gets older, and furthermore, this is not a dating site, so what the hell!
