15 Zane Kirchner, 14 JP Pietersen, 13 Juan de Jongh, 12 Jean de Villiers (captain), 11 Francois Hougaard, 10 Pat Lambie, 9 Ruan Pienaar, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Willem Alberts, 6 Francois Louw, 5 Juandré Kruger, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Adriaan Strauss, 1 Gurthrö Steenkamp
Substitutes: 16. Schalk Brits, 17 Heinke van der Merwe, 18 CJ van der Linde, 19 Flip van der Merwe, 20 Marcell Coetzee, 21 Morné Steyn, 22 Jaco Taute, 23 Lwazi Mvovo
All in not a bad team.
Although HM seems reluctant to go all the way with his changes. He keeps on telling us that he wants to build momentum and not change to much. But to be honest there has not been much if any momentum build this year even though he has tried to keep changes to a minimum.
Like JdJ at 13. I have said he should be given a fair chance in his favorite position and he got it.
Like the fact that Lambie has got another chance.
If JdJ at 13 why not give Taute a shot at 15? Zane has had plenty of chances.
Why keep Hougie on the wing when he is struggling so much. Give the guy a brake and get a real wing on the pitch.
Would have selected Pat as back-up 3. CJ is not what he used to be and I think he will struggle at 3 if required.
Why keep Morne on the bench? As a safty option? Why not give Jantjies a shot?
I would have switched Alberts and Coetzee but that’s just my opinion.
Well as HM said he did not want to change to much, even though after Sa game he prob should, he stuck to his guns and only made 2 changes. So credit must prob go to him for sticking to his word.
Lets hope the Bok backs can break loose a bit and attack a bit more with ball in hand.
