Proteas Players to Join the Springboks!!

October 27, 2011 in Uncategorized

Ok just imagine this for a second . . . bare with me here, just imagine, the All mighty Springboks recieve a much needed boost in the form of none other than : (drum roll please)

Faf du Plessis – our new and improved Flyhalf! (crowd goes wow!!)

The Springboks new Centre pair in the form of AB de Villiers and David miller!! (crowd claps)

The Springboks massively strong number 8, Graeme Smith (crowd goes mad!!)

Ok so I was a bit bored, Iv’e had to bite my tounge and keep my thoughts about the CC Final in, but since old Babylon Charlie is having a wale of a time boasting about his Lions who, because of winning a few Currie Cup games have now turned into the worlds best team!! well not in my eyes, Sharks to put another good performance in wih 60% of the crowd being Sharks supporters!!!!

Play Lambie at Flyhalf on Saturday!

October 26, 2011 in Uncategorized

On Saturday one of the most Historical rugby venues on the planet host the 2011 Currie Cup Final between the Sharks and The Lions.

I think the Lions have a big chance of taking it this year however we know the Sharks have two sides, one that doesn’t pitch up and plays horribly and one who pitches up and plays like a team possessed, I know which team I want to be playing on Saturday.

The big question a few Sharks supporters are asking is where Patrick Lambie will play on Saturday? Will it be Fullback, Flyhalf or even the possibility of Centre?

My opinion? I think its time Michalak took a spot on the bench and let Lambie take the Reigns at Flyhalf on Saturday. I can’t help but feel his potential is being wasted at Fullback and even though he was brilliant for the Boks in the World cup I still think he would have done better at Flyhalf, but of course Morne Steyn was playing good rugby so I understood the reasoning.

The Semi Final on Saturday again proved my point, the moment Fredie went off and Lambie replaced him at flyhalf the entire Sharks pack tightened up and instead of leaking points they started scoring them thus the 17-0 scoreline in the second half. Not only did the Sharks score all the points they effectively shut danger man Goosen out of the game. Besides, the Sharks have a more than competent Fullback in Louis Ludik, why not use him? He was absolutely sublime in last years Currie cup and his attacking skills are brilliant as a Fullback.

Lets also not forget what Pat Lambie did in last years Currie Cup final from the number 10 position, I’m sure WP fans are still hurting. . . .and Schulk Burger

Play Lambie at Flyhalf!!

Ask Schulk Burger . . . . he knows all about Lambie the wonderkid

My last post

October 18, 2011 in Uncategorized

That’s right! This is my last post! I’m done finished and Kaput!

In case some of you don’t know, myself and a few other bloggers have decided to move on to greener pastures.

I will still hang around here and comment on the blogs for a while.

I am not going to mention the other bloggers who are leaving but they know who they are and they have their reasons.

I do not agree with how sport24 run their site or treat their bloggers. They will argue and argue until the cows come home about this and that and point fingers at other departments but at the end of the day it’s their site and they can run it how they like, this doesn’t mean I need to agree.

I am an extreme believer in principle, and principally to stay here would be against what I believe in, I could be a dick about it, but I’ll kindly show sport24 the finger and move on.

I know a fair bit about marketing and customer service and sport24 are crap at both. Now of course they will deny this because according to them they’re the best, which according to the public they are obviously not.

Sport24 don’t care about the passion for the game or making this site an enjoyable place where passionate supporters and pure fun meet. They care about business, money, advertising and that sort of stuff so they can fly around New Zealand in a little airoplane

so see you around

Talk about bringing a team down to earth!!

The Solution to our problems

Go have a look here :

our current platform is ranked third, maybe we should look at the other platforms listed and some of us should run trials?

EDIT : We must keep it South African based in my opinion

EDIT again – this is only if we don’t decide to create our own

Where are the blogs?

October 14, 2011 in Uncategorized

Is it just me or have the blogs been effectivly removed from sport24’s website?

If you reading this, go to Met Uysh’s blog to discuss “Die Groot Trek” :

Sport24’s motives exposed

October 13, 2011 in Uncategorized

You know whats funny about sport24 and their Employees? They run a business off the web based on public hits and interaction ONLY! without the public visiting their website and their brilliant intelligent bloggers posts they would have absolutely nothing! They would not make money and they would ultimately be out of business.

Now the funny thing is that despite you, me and the rest of the public being the main (if not only) source of income for all the Tanks, Robs and Gary’s salaries, sport24 and their employees don’t give an effing shit about either one of us, they don’t care what we like, what we want to see or what we want to feel, they just don’t care.

Instead of posting useful and informative articles, the sport24 columnists prefer to take the controversial route and write only off their strong opinions (often being completely useless and non factual) which only has the intention to cause a stir and get hits from the public rather than give the reader a good piece of information.

You see sport24 have a number of businesses and corporations advertising on their website, and although there are a few ways to do this the most common is pay per hit (also know as pay per click) what this means is that for every hit or view a page gets, sport24 will get paid for. so for sport24 to make a lot of money all they do is write articles that cause confusion, anger and controversy and all of this so Tank in his Buddy’s can hop on a plane to New Zealand and enjoy life. They however will argue with this and call me a joke but that wouldn’t be surprising since they call our most respectable sportsman jokes. Here are a few of their moves recently.

1. David Brooke calling John Smit fat – out of all people?? Ok so he doesn’t exactly say john smit is fat, but watch the clip and you’ll see the shocking cheeky and arrogant move from this guy (who is apparently the commercial manager for sport24)

2. Presenter calling for our national captains head live on TV – Ok so I understand that the amount of people that wake up at 4am to watch espresso is about 0, but here she literally cheers for Smit to be removed and Bismarck to be put in his place, on national TV, live as a presenter  – extremely unprofessional

3. Yesterday Rob posted and article “Will Biff cut it as a soldier” ( and a comment posted by a reader said Graeme Smith is a cancer in the team. I of course replied with a decent, non swearing comment asking him how can he make that statement when all the Proteas players are big mates with him and respect him, my comment was deleted and after taking Rob on about it he eventually deleted the “cancer comment” along with mine.

Reason: because Rob doesn’t care about others opinions and he try’s to control the discussions on his post, treating every reader like a guinea pig. So not only can we not voice our opinion but if we disagree with rob or he does not agree with our view it will simply be deleted.

OK I’m finished . . .for now
