Who is the Bok captain next year? I don’t think Jean will make it to the next world cup.
De Villiers played in his 83rd Test on Saturday, a mainstay of the Springboks for the last 10 years. But with a younger, stronger and possibly quicker crop of centres coming through, and available to Meyer in 2013, the sands of time may just be running out for one of the nicest guys to have worn the Bok jersey … and captain the team.
Ultimately it will be form, and not age, that decides De Villiers’ fate, with Meyer having to decide whether he’s done enough on the playing field in 2012 to warrant consideration next year.
Could Saturday have been the last we see of De Villiers the Bok? Possibly

What exactly has Strauss done wrong to be worst than Bismarck? I think Strauss, much like Etsebeth, took the chance when given to him and made the position his,
Strauss has been tackling (Note where the Scotish player was over the line, Strauss picked him up and drove him back 3m), stealing balls at rucks, scoring tries, leading from the front. Gaining the most running metres in the last game.
He would be my man for the job, even if he played for the Bulls or Stormers, I would rate him as our future captain.

Guys the process is allready well underway to prepare Adrian Strauss as next captain. Bismark will have to make do like when John Smit was arround. As good a player as he definatly is, I cant see Bismark as Springbok captain.
I have come to realise that Strauss is the correct man for the job!

As a Shark Sherifff, I dont think Bismarc. Keegan Daniel is my choice, but HM doesnt like him.
