Wallabies must attack or perish, says “Alice” Cooper
September 20, 2012 in rugby, sport, springboks
Quade Cooper’s patience with conservative rugby has worn out and he wants the Wallabies to be brave, not boring, to boost their fortunes and lagging support.
Cooper is the latest to join a long injury list but passionately called for Australia to buck the trend and back their attacking instincts in upcoming Tests against South Africa, Argentina and New Zealand.
Cooper’s comments come as coach Robbie Deans, who reverted to a conservative field-position game plan for last year’s World Cup, is under growing pressure to see out the last 12 months of his two-year contract.
via Wallabies must attack or perish, says Cooper.
a conservative field-position game plan for last year’s World Cup
Isn’t this the same game plan the Boks have been using so far this year?

The “experts” say:
If you were a selector who’d be your flyhalf for the Loftus and Soccer City Tests?
Naas Botha: Goosen or Jantjies
Kennedy Tsimba: Jantjies
Joel Stransky: Goosen
Errol Tobias: Goosen or Jantjies

I like Goosen but I think he needs some more game time but he does seem a nose ahead in the race

More than a nose. He is at least in the race.
