WP to punish Sinclair?

Cape Town – Western Province could dish out their own punishment to No 8 Jebb Sinclair after he emerged unscathed from a SARU disciplinary committee hearing for throwing a punch in a Currie Cup game.
Sinclair and fellow loose forward Tyrone Holmes both appeared before the SARU committee on Tuesday after receiving red cards for punching in their team’s loss to the Sharks in Durban over the weekend.

The inconsistency in the “courts” on rugby discipline leaves me sitting gaping at the screen.
Etsebeth gets 2 weeks for a nearly headbutt
Greyling gets 2 weeks for a blatant elbow to the face
Sinclair gets no week for a punch that put Deyzel on his ass
Holmes gets 1 week for a punch that glanced off and did no damage
Is it just me or is a hearing a lucky dip affair.
Ridiculous!!
Holmes

It is not so unclear really. Sinclair is not a South Arican.

Powa, its obvious. Read carefully. The less impact made the longer the fine. Etzie 2 weeks for almost headbutting and Sinclap no weeks for putting Deislig on his ass.
Or maybe SARU felt Deyzel deserved it…

LOL I think Deyzel deserved it too
But that doesn’t make it right.

WP decided he was punished enough and selected him for their starting XV

Who do they want him to punch this week?
