The game called RUG

I used to post on the old sport 24 blog . I hope it will be read by the old sport 24 bloggers but I have no idea how to get this blog there or where this is going to end up.
About a hundred and something years ago a little boy picked up a soccer ball and dived over the goal line and the game of RUG were born. Initially a lot of changes were made and the game of RUG became RUG A , RUG B, , RUG C etc. After a few years the rules settled and the game of RUG was called RUG BY by the time I was conscious in the 1980 ‘s. This was a great game and I enjoyed it throughout my school and varsity career. With the amount of rule changes the last ten years, ( this year there is 11 ) I don’t even know what to call the game anymore, ZEF ZZ perhaps.
What I am trying to say is we are all trying to keep up with the latest technology . Trying to work out how this bloody site work and how the latest I-Phone works. I want my sport simple.
Please stop changing the rules for at least 5 years at a time.

Hahahaha, I agree. One cannot keep up and with the high blood pressure experienced by most fans during a game, the changes might lead to heart attacks.

You said it my Friend. Hahaha. The years is catching up with us. Heart attack or not, looking forward to this year’s S15. Might just be a Stormer of a year. Good to have you back.
