The Cup stays here
June 22, 2012 in Uncategorized
Today is the day. It might be one of the biggest days in
some of these young men’s lives. Are they under pressure? Hell yes!
Good luck BOYTJIES. Make us proud. Let’s keep the CUP in SA.
30000 people will be there to cheer you on (hopefully the South African All
Blacks will stay at home) , and another 50million at home.
I know I will watch this one instead of the Barney’s Army
match
Like we say in Afrikaans……..”GEE DIE WINDHOND GAS”!
Cheers, have a fantastic weekend

While I applaud your patriotism for the Cry-Baby-Boks Nelster old plum, I hate to point out the obvious, the Cry-Baby-Boks have NEVER won the Cup and this is the first time they have even managed to get to the final.
So you can hardly ‘keep’ something which is not already yours!

Should be a great game of rugby, though i suspect the NZ youngsters might just pip it.
Off topic, how are you enjoying that new Ford ranger T6

@empire, its an awsome vehicle. 3.2TD 4×4. I am on a 4×4 trail every second weekend.

Lucan, I am well aware of the fact that we have never won it. The Cup is in SA at the moment because we are hosting the WC. By me saying, “the Cup stays here”, I meant that after today the cup will remain in SA.

@Nelster you should come to Namibia in Damaraland!!! Some very good off roading there compared to what you have in the western cape… I’m sure your bakkie will thank you!!

@Steyts, we are coming to Saddle Hill over New years. We are spening a night at Luderitz going there, 4 nights at Saddle Hill and another night at Luderitz coming back. Looking forward to it. Any more info on Damaraland?
