Well the great Currie Cup and the lesser spotted Rugby Championship are almost upon us. I am looking forward to the Currie Cup… it will always stay my favourite competition. All the local boys playing, plus you get to see a lot of the stars of the future.
Anyway, this is not the point of this article. I was sitting reading some crap about what some politician said. The thought that popped into my head is what gives this moro… erm… person the right to stand there and make as if he knows anything he is saying. But then I started thinking about my blog. I do exactly the same. I raise my opinions and objection and Morné Steyn-bashery. But what gives me that right?
I wrestled with that topic in my head for all of 5 minutes. The plain and simple truth is this: I am no expert which is why I am not giving (or saying that I am giving) expert advice. I am merely offering my opinion and hope that others will join in the debate. Let’s face it, I don’t write the article because it is fun, I write it because people comment on it and I love reading others opinions (except when they make dumb observation based on no fact at all or argue like an idiot… because then I really love it!)
It’s like watching Idols, you only want to watch the shows where people make a fool of themselves on air. After that you don’t give a rat’s behind anymore and probably never know who the winner is until some chop thinks you care and tells you.
So what I am saying is this: my blog is no more than an opinion piece where people can come and make comments on the stuff I have written, and then discuss or argue about the points I have made. My work isn’t cannon and should not be taken that way.
Good luck to all the boys for the Currie Cup and good luck to all the men for the Rugby Championship (yes Morné that includes you even though I rate you as good as an U/13 C team flyhalf).

Howzit bru, sorry to be so anal, can’t help myself. “Right” is wrong. “Write” is right. No need to thank me, it’s how i roll, I’m good like that.
Oops!
True, its difficult maintaining it though if no on comments or reads it. On the old platform there was a simple link between S24 and the blogs, now its a but segregated. So difficult to build an audience/readership.
Ja, nee hel dis stil hier! Wag amper vir ‘n karoobossie om deur die strate van hierdie platform te kom dwarrel…
nice pictureA guess toomorrw until the mach with the PUMAS they going to do the same good luck in this New RUgby WORD CUP..this is for you jejeasi con tono de cancha papa!!!!!!VAMOS DE NUEVOOyoooooo teeeeeeee dareete dareeeeeee uuuuuuna cosaeeeess uuuna cosauna cosa que empieza con PPUMAS!!!
Awh come on now,why would you wish all the boys good luck for the Currie Cup.I don’t have a problem if most of the other teams experiance some serious setbacks against the team of my support, which I proudly have to announce is the Sharks,by the way.Morne of the Bulls are having a low at the moment, and for some time of a whole season, but to rate him as good as an under 13 C team flyhalf is a rather idiotic statement in itself don’t you think?
How do you figure the Springboks are No 1?They are good. And a very hot team at the moemnt but what have the AB’s done to not deserve there no 1 ranking. Last year they went 12 1. There only loss was to South Africa but that was because some number 8 (Soialo) from Wellington effectively gave away 17 points!!! the Springboks still finished last in the Tri-nations. But yeah they finished last year whipping anyone and everyone in Europe as well as starting this year unbeaten (admittedly against crap opposition)But yeah the AB’s are number 1 and hopefully they will bring back the cup to its rightful place
