I agree with you and share your frustrations. However, as much as I like JdV, he made bad decisions and I dont know if he is the right person for the Captain’s position? Secondly, we need a new backline coach. When an excellent team like the Stormers fail in such an abysmal way, I blame the coach. But, lets see what happens. Must say, the Cheetahs and Bulls are playing excellent rugby.

He also introduced bigger stronger forward which made us more competitive up front. But if you really want to look at what his contribution is to rugby look at the Cheetaaaahhhsss, he changed the way they played and took them from nothing and many still give credit to what naka is doing now to what he started then.
Rassie’s biggest hurdle was not getting Province to win but getting around the politics of WP. That was his failure and a big reason why he never really got the best out of WP.
Provincefan, i get what you are trying to say regarding the burning of AC at the stake but you cant compare the two. Not their talent nor what they brought to the union. If Rassie was given less WP political flack he would of had a lot of success. I have met people who work and have worked with both coaches and they all say the same thing, Rassie struggled with the WP committee which is why he did not get the job done and why he left..regardless of what the papers said.

But when are we ever going to make the step up and at least win the Super Rugby? Even the Cheetahs have a better chance than the Stormers, and right now, the Stormers are even in danger of having to play relegation match!

AC has been there how long now? And have we seen any success apart from the Currie Cup? Which they screwed up by not acknowledging Catrakilis?

Ja, I am fed up too. I just don’t know if it will ever change.
